Introduction
Srikanth, film is set to release in 2024 in Hindi director Tushar Hiranandani‘s biographical . It tells the story of Srikanth Bolla, the founder of Bollant Industries and an industrialist with vision impairment. Alaya F, Jyothika, Sharad Kelkar, and Rajkummar Rao co-star in the movie as its main characters. December 2022 until January 2023 was the filming period. “Srikanth” made its theatrical debut on May 10, 2024, right before Akshay Tritiya, which was originally scheduled for September 2023.
Plot
The film chronicles the life of Indian businessman Srikanth Bolla, who established Bollant Industries in 2012. Srikanth, who was born blind in 1992, overcome several obstacles to succeed. His journey—from early hardships to becoming the first foreign student at MIT to be sight impaired—is chronicled in the video. “AA RAHA HAI SABKI AANKHEN KHOLNE,” the tagline, means “he is coming to open everyone’s eyes.”

Production
Development
The movie’s original title, SRI, was eventually altered to Srikanth. The film on Srikanth Bolla was director Tushar’s initial pick, but they were unable to collaborate because of Srikanth’s hectic schedule. Then, Tushar made contact with Srikanth via his business associate Ravi Mantha (Shad Kelkar), who assisted in obtaining the movie’s rights after Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra gave them up.
Filming
November 2022 marked the start of principal photography, which ended in January 2023. For the movie, Jyothika made a comeback to Bollywood. She first turned down the part, but eventually agreed to play it when her husband Suriya convinced her to. In order to prepare for his role, lead actor Rajkummar Rao worked with vision impaired people and wore special glasses while production. Notably, the movie is the first-ever inclusive Hindi film, giving over seventy performers with disabilities opportunities to play.
On April 10, 2024, the formal trailer was released. Rajkummar Rao went to Swarnim University and the Blind People’s Association, which was hosting a cultural program, in order to promote the movie. Additionally, he acknowledged Gujarati entrepreneurs who were visually disabled, during The Victoria Memorial School for the Blind in Mumbai, Srikanth Bolla was present during a promotional event. Release
On May 10, 2024, the movie made its theatrical debut with special screenings that featured discounted ticket rates. In partnership with NCPEDP, PVR INOX made sure that audiences with disabilities could enjoy the content through formats specifically designed for the blind and deaf, including 1600 wheelchair-accessible seats spread throughout the sites. There will be an OTT release on Netflix.

Aditya Dev, Sachet-Parampara, and Anand-Milind have all composed music for the movie. Aamir Khan premiered Aditya Dev’s rendition of “Papa Kehte Hain” from “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” on April 22, 2024.
