The term ‘political’ denotes all activities, policies, and systems of governance within a society or a country. It explains the activities involved in decision making on laws, public policies, and sharing resources and powers. Political issues refer to the anatomy of the state, its political processes such as elections, political parties, and diplomacy, and how people or groups seek to affect the actions of the state. This word also includes debates, controversies, and conflicts aimed at either change or at maintenance of an existing social order on all levels, from local to global. Defining politics is difficult as it tends to cut across various sectors such as the economic sector, education sector, social justice sector, and international relations.
