Angkrish kicked off his cricketing journey at a young age, moving to Mumbai at 11, where he was guided by coaches Abhishek Nayar and Omkar Salvi.

He shot to national fame during the 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, where he stood out as the highest run-scorer for India, racking up 278 runs over six innings. His stellar performances, including a match-winning century against Uganda and a crucial fifty against Ireland, were key to India’s championship win.
