Amit Mishra , Former Indian cricket player was born on November 24, 1982, and is renowned for his right-arm leg-break bowling and right-handed batting. He participated in the IPL with the Lucknow Super Giants and the Ranji Trophy for . Mishra played for India in T20, ODI, and Test matches. He was also a member of the team that won the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.

Test career

Highlights of Amit Mishra's career include his outstanding Test against Australia in 2008, when he replaced the injured Anil Kumble and captured seven wickets. Even though he was only sometimes used, he made a big impact, scoring fifty runs as a night watchman against and reaching his highest Test score of eighty-four against England in 2011. Mishra remained a significant asset, especially on the 2016 India tour to the West Indies, when he took six wickets in two test matches.

2015 Sexual Assault Allegations

Mishra was accused of sexual assault in 2015 and was taken into custody as a suspect. Later on, bail was given to him.
