IPL

After capturing coach John Wright’s attention, Bumrah signed with the Mumbai Indians in 2013. Taking 145 wickets in 120 matches, he has contributed to five IPL championships. In his first IPL game, he got rid of Virat Kohli at the age of 19. He became an important player despite ups and downs, showing promise with a five-wicket haul in 2022, among other memorable games. He suffered a back ailment in 2023, which kept him out of the season.
