Introduction

Saurabh Naresh Netravalkar, Indian-born software engineer and cricket player was born on October 16, 1991, and he represents the United States. He was a left-arm medium-fast bowler for the under-19 team. On December 22, 2013, he made his first-class for in the 2013–14 Ranji Trophy. On February 27, 2014, he made his List A cricket debut during the 2013–14 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He is currently employed by Oracle on an H1B visa as a Principal Member of Technical Staff.

Saurabh Naresh Netravalkar attended Cornell University and Mumbai University for his studies. in order to pursue further software engineering courses, he relocated to the United States in 2015. His of coding inspired him to create the CricDecode player analysis program. He started working for Oracle in San Francisco after finishing.

Career
Junior Cricket

After bowling Yuvraj Singh out at the NCA in Bengaluru in 2009, Netravalkar's skill was acknowledged. He was the joint highest wicket-taker in the BCCI Corporate Trophy as a result of this. Leading India's bowling attack in the Under-19 tri-nation series in South Africa, he claimed eight wickets while shining in the 2008–09 Cooch Behar Trophy, with 30 wickets in six matches. Even though he had to forego his academic obligations, he led India in wicket-taking at the 2010 U19 World Cup with 9 wickets in 6 matches. He made his Ranji Trophy debut in 2013 but failed to establish a regular spot, even though a strong lineup prevented him from making the Indian national squad. In order to devote all of his time to cricket, he left his work as a software testing engineer.

International cricket

Playing for the North West Region in the USACA National Championship in 2016, Netravalkar made an impression on USA coach Pubudu Dassanayake. During the 2018 Regional Super50 competition, he joined the USA squad and was subsequently appointed captain. In April 2019, he made his debut after leading the team to ODI status. Netravalkar broke by taking the first five wickets for the USA in an ODI and a T20I. He made headlines the following day on June 6, 2024, when he held off Pakistan in the super over to win the ICC Men's and increase the United States' prospects of qualifying. He is taking a leave of absence from Oracle to commemorate this accomplishment.

Domestic and

Saurabh Naresh Netravalkar was selected by the Washington Freedom in the draft in March of 2023. In the first season, he took the third-most wickets and cemented his status as a premier bowler with an impressive six-wicket haul against the San Francisco Unicorns.
